Hoerr Schaudt designed a landscape for Crate & Barrel's 24-acre corporate headquarters site that focused on preserving key natural features. An enhanced natural woodland is now the primary focus of views from offices along the east side of the building, and views of parking are minimized due to its location along the north and west side of the complex. A "prairie mix" of grasses enhances future development areas, and the landscape design along the perimeter of the site feature plantings found in open meadows.
