Hoerr Schaudt designed and assisted in the implementation of a series of entry gardens for The John G. Shedd Aquarium, one of Chicago's best-loved attractions. These gardens include the redesigned south entry and visitor drop off for the Phillipine Coral Reef & Shark exhibit, a lakefront migratory bird habitat, an educational garden designed to attract butterflies, and a south dune garden that evokes images of Lake Michigan's Southern shoreline. In addition, the west and east terrace rooftop gardens feature the latest in green roof technologies.
