The Dr. Norman E. Borlaug Hall of Laureates is the new home of the World Prize Foundation. Designed to honor the importance and dignity of the Prize, a new, formal garden is an integral part of this LEED Platinum restoration. At two acres, the garden is a significant addition to public green space in downtown Des Moines. An 1100 square foot granite inlay of a map of the world marks the building entrance. Statues of the Foundation’s founder and sponsor mark entrance paths. Read about the creation of this garden on our blog.
