This lakefront home has 17 acres of grounds and gardens designed by Jens Jensen. Hoerr Schaudt worked to restore the various Jensen gardens, woodland borders and meadows and again recently after the site fell to neglect in the early part of this decade.

The property is located on a site with a steep ravine that eventually descends a high bluff to Lake Michigan. A new addition to the residence by H. Gary Frank Architects created opportunity for a pool and improved entertaining areas at the lake-side of the house. Other key areas of focus included the coach house, Jensen meadow, main entrance, pool house, and formal garden.
